Our Organisation

A member of Brown & Company PLC, one of Sri Lanka's oldest and diversified conglomerates, Browns Plantations is an amalgamation of three leading plantation companies namely Maturata Plantations Ltd, Udapussellawa Plantations PLC., Hapugastenne Plantations PLC. and Tea Smallholder Factories PLC (TSFL) Additionally it is also the first time in Sri Lanka that three plantation companies have been synergised to form one brand identity.

We consolidate a diverse range of plantations and estates spanning approximately a total of 44,270.60 hectares of land and cultivating a diverse range of products such as Tea, Rubber, Cinnamon, Coconut, Commercial Timber, and Ancillary Crops.

The Company's adaptability to changing environments, adoption of state-of-the-art technology and unique community offerings make it a force to reckon with. Our accumulated technical, industrial and people skills and experience have allowed us to expand our cultivation, production and sustainability measures to meet the global industry level.
