Orange Pekoe ‘A’ (OPA), Orange Pekoe (OP), Orange Pekoe 1 (OP1), Broken Orange Pekoe 1 (BOP1), Flowery Broken Orange Pekoe (FBOP), Flowery Broken Orange Pekoe (FBOP1), Flowery Fanning’s 1(FF1), Flowery Fanning’s (FF), Flowery Special (FSP), Broken Orange Pekoe A (BOPA), Broken Mix (BM), Broken Orange Pekoe 1A (BOP1A), Broken Pekoe (BP), BT, DUST, FGS, Broken Orange Pekoe (BOP) are some of the tea varieties that Browns Plantations manufactures under orthodox method.   • Does Ceylon Black Tea have caffeine?

    Ceylon Black Tea contains the most amount of caffeine out of all tea types. One cup of Ceylon Black Tea contains 50-90 mg of caffeine per cup. Ceylon Black Tea is the perfect alternative to all coffee addicts.

    • Lower risk of heart diseases

    Ceylon Black Tea which contains the antioxidants called flavonoids reduces the risk of high blood pressure, high cholesterol, elevated triglyceride levels, and obesity.

    Pure Ceylon Black Tea is referred to as tea which is 100% grown and manufactured entirely in Sri Lanka. Tea varities bearing the Lion Logo must also be packed in Sri Lanka.  Even though the content of the packaging still can be 100%, in Sri Lanka, the Lion logo cannot be used by overseas importers and distributors.
