Udapussellawa Plantations PLC is a leading producer of high-quality export crops, including Ceylon Tea, spices, and rubber, spread across 3,403.36 hectares. We are committed to sustainable production. The company collaborated with Friends of Horton Plains and the Rainforest Alliance's local team to organise awareness sessions on the preservation and protection of leopards in the Nuwara Eliya and Ragala regions, exemplifying our commitment to environmental stewardship.

Udapussellawa Plantations has substantially impacted the environment by planting around 1690 indigenous trees and rehabilitating a significant amount of land within their estates, contributing to the conservation of the local ecosystem.

    We produce Black, Green, and Specialty Ceylon Teas for both local and global markets. Our Ceylon Tea is handpicked and produced using traditional Orthodox methods, ensuring superior quality and taste. We have implemented sustainable agricultural practices to preserve biodiversity and reduce our carbon and water footprint. Our tea gardens are spread across 3,173.36 hectares and are managed with strict ethical labour practices.

    We cultivate a range of spices, including Ceylon Cinnamon, Cardamom, and Pepper. Our spice gardens are designed to protect the environment while ensuring premium quality products. We use traditional harvesting and processing techniques to create our Ceylon Cinnamon, known for its unique flavour and aroma. Our Cardamom and Pepper are also handpicked and processed with great care to ensure quality.

    In Udapussellawa Plantations, our rubber estates span 65.05 hectares and are dedicated to producing Lankaprene, our flagship brand of natural rubber. Known for its clean, white texture and odour-free properties, Lankaprene is a testament to our commitment to quality and eco-friendliness.

    We follow global standards for food processing during our rubber production processes to ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards.     We also operate sustainable commercial forests, including Eucalyptus, Acacia, and Albizia species, across 318.29 hectares. These forests provide timber for furniture, construction, and charcoal production while conserving soil and reducing our carbon footprint.
